Central Council of German Sinti and Roma: Banning Antigypsyism in the countries of the Western Balkans and Turkey is long overdue

On 13 and 14 February 2018, an international conference will for the first time address the increasing Antigypsyism and the discrimination against Roma in the EU enlargement region. The conference is organised by the Regional Cooperation Council in cooperation with the Central Council of German Sinti and Roma. More than 70 representatives of line ministries and civil society from the Western Balkans and Turkey will discuss the structural effects of Antigypsyism and the counter-strategies for the equal participation of Roma.
